Root Canals

One thing that Dr. Scherer has learned over the years is that many patients are nervous about root canal therapy. Fortunately, Endodontic Therapy usually involves little or no discomfort. In fact, the discomfort that caused you to need root canal therapy is the only discomfort involved; and that discomfort is relieved by the therapy. During root canal therapy, damaged tissue from inside the tooth is removed, eliminating whatever discomfort you may have been feeling. Modern root canals are usually finished in a single visit and save teeth that would otherwise need to be extracted. Even though it may be scary, you can relax.
